What I'm focused on at the moment. My day job is principal cloud engineer at HPE, working on Morpheus. Outside work:

Building rbcop. RuboCop rewritten in Rust, aiming for byte-identical output. Version 0.1.2 shipped this week as a gem with a prebuilt binary. On ActiveSupport it reports the same 5,178 offenses as RuboCop 1.91.0 and runs more than 40 times faster.

Running agents with fleetview. A terminal roster for background coding agent sessions across opencode, claude, and copilot. It's in beta.

Polishing murmur. Offline voice dictation for macOS, with on-device speech recognition and a local model for cleanup.

Contributing upstream. Recent merged PRs went to Zettlr, MUI X, Prettier, and superfile. Every one is on the open source page.

Writing. Most recently The Era of Rust Rewrites, about what's left when AI makes rewrites cheap.
